After a student commits suicide at a predominantly black university, the fraternities black greek fraternity and sorority and sororities launch a movement encouraging the student body to step back black greek fraternity and sorority and examine their actions--and how those actions affect their fellow students. The program concludes with a dynamic step show in honor of the deceased student. In addition to serving as housing, fraternity and sorority houses often also host social gatherings, meetings, and functions that benefit the community.

KPS - The phrase has become a symbol of connectedness and unity of the midshipmen (and alumnus)at the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
