Following in the irreverent footsteps of the Farrelly Brothers fraternity and sorority party and National Lampoon is this farcical send-up of college life. Dave, Doofer, fraternity and sorority party and Adam always lead the party in their fraternity's frequent fraternity and sorority party and wild blowouts. But when their jealous frat president frames them for theft, the three are banished. Their only hope of getting back in is to prove they didn't steal the fraternity's treasury fund by getting hold of the videotape that will prove who did. But how can three excommunicated frat boys get back into their house? Dressed as girls, of course, at one of the house's many parties. The three wind up as new pledges in the D.O.G. sorority, where the unpopular girls go after all the other sororities reject them. But the hoax gets turned on its ear when Dave starts falling for one of his sorority sisters, who returns his affection--as long as he's a woman--while Adam evades the amorous advances of his former little brother fraternity and sorority party and Doofer gets in touch with his feminine side. Dazed and Confused (DVD)

Richard Linklater's DAZED AND CONFUSED takes a hysterical, nostalgic cross-clique look at high school social development. On the last day of school in May 1976, students at a suburban Texas high school wait, lackadaisically, for classes to end. The restless almost-seniors--an eclectic group of stone-heads, fraternal jocks, fraternity and sorority party and snobby sorority girls--can't wait to haze the incoming freshman, an annual event as harrowing for freshman boys as it is humiliating for girls. Amidst this teenage wasteland of drugs, partying, fraternity and sorority party and rock fraternity and sorority party and roll is football star Pink (Jason London), who saves scrawny pre-frosh Mitch (Wiley Wiggins) from being paddled to oblivion by upper-classmates. When a wild end-of-the-year party is cancelled, the students end up congregating at a beer-blast in the back woods, organized by aging hang-about Wooderson (Matthew McConaughey).
